I have worked in budget and tax roles for most of my professional career. After graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in Economics, I worked as a Budget Analyst for a US Navy Defense Contractor. Following this, I earned my Master’s in Accounting from the University of Hawaii and worked for Deloitte’s Honolulu office as a Tax Consultant.
I took some time out of the workforce to raise my daughter(s) while my husband, an active-duty marine, completed multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I stayed involved in my field during this period by volunteering for the VITA program in Wilmington, NC and as a part-time Staff Accountant at Costlow & Company in Vienna, Va.
Following my husband’s retirement from the Marine Corps, we returned to Arizona where I worked at ASU in the Office of Budget and Planning for over four years. I recently joined Morrison Clark & Company and look forward to working at a great firm and with all of our wonderful clients!
We were fortunate to live all over the United States and abroad during my husband’s military career. We chose to return to Arizona to raise our girls near family. I try to be an active member in my community and currently serve on the City of Tempe’s Library Advisory Board and recently became a part of the East Valley NCL chapter with my daughter Brynn. My hobbies are travel, reading and gardening. The most rewarding thing in my life is raising my two daughters to be capable and curious young ladies.
