BOOKKEEPER

MISSION

To ensure that the company’s financial books and records are accurate, current and complete.  Establish rapport and build company’s relationship with a variety of clients and vendors.

OUTCOMES  
  • Company books and records are accurate, current and complete.  Establish a good pro-active working relationship with outside CPA.
  • Project managers are supported with accurate and timely financial reports and documents that meet compliance needs of proposals and projects.
  • Payroll is run accurately and on time. Staff have flexibility in making changes.
  • Company expenses are paid timely, efficiently and meet cash flow needs.  Keeps company vendors informed.
  • Clients are billed timely.  Accounts receivable are kept below established threshold.
  • Compliance documents such as sales tax returns, personal property tax, depreciation schedules, financial statement and tax workpapers, debt amortization schedules, and fringe benefit calculations for W-2s are prepared timely and accurately.
  • Staff administrative needs are supported with attention to detail.  Includes general office work, coordination of travel and meetings, maintenance of supplies and office equipment.
  • Company benefits are well researched and coordinated.
  • Develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
  • Effective and valued team member.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work in the Company’s office.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a bookkeeper and office manager,
  • Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Extensive knowledge of Quickbooks.
  • Understands AIA process
